ON THE ISSUES

REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS:

Miller is pro-life and believes life begins at conception.[v] He has argued that “in Joe Biden’s America, it’s easier to find abortion than baby formula.”[vi] He is endorsed by Ohio Right to Life.[vii]

ECONOMY, JOBS & TAXES:

Miller has argued that “job creators of all sizes are attacked for their success,” and that the government should get “out of the way” so they can make the US stronger. He has criticized the Biden administration’s response to rising inflation, asserting “the only way out of this mess is to curb spending, lower taxes and get Americans back to work.”[viii]  Miller consistently criticized Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, arguing it would raise taxes and inflation, and asserted that Biden was spreading “disinformation” in his promotion of the bill.[ix] [x] [xi] [xii] He also opposed Build Back Better, referring to it as “Build Back Broke.”[xiii]

HEALTHCARE & SOCIAL SAFETY NET:

Miller criticized a statement made by HHS in September 2022 in support of gender-affirming care for trans youth, asserting “Biden’s HHS is normalizing genital mutilation of minors as ‘lifesaving care.’”[xiv] He further criticized Democrats and Biden for supporting “the corrupt World Health Organization.”[xv] Miller opposes mask and vaccine mandates and supports free markets in health care.[xvi] [xvii]

IMMIGRATION & BORDER SECURITY:

Miller argues that “lawlessness at the Southern Border” has led to “illicit drugs on our streets, dangerous criminals getting rich, and human trafficking of innocent victims.” He believes mass immigration “places strains on services” in the US.[xviii] He supports building a border wall and “strongly” opposes amnesty.[xix] [xx] [xxi]

CRIME & PUBLIC SAFETY:

Miller has criticized “radical Democrats” who want to “defund and degrade our law enforcement,” and calls the Democratic Party the “pro-crime party.” He commits to fighting for “increased funding and support” for law enforcement.[xxii] [xxiii] [xxiv] He is in favor of Issue 1, an Ohio ballot initiative requiring judges to factor public safety and criminal history when setting bail for individuals accused of a crime.[xxv] [xxvi]

GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS & ELECTION SECURITY:

Miller has affirmed that Biden is the US president but said there were “a lot of irregularities within the election that need to be looked into immediately.” He has said he will join the Election Integrity Caucus on his first day in Congress “to fight for voter ID and stop the Democrats from rigging our elections.”[xxvii]

EDUCATION:

Miller believes “we must reject critical race theory and sexual indoctrination at our schools.”[xxviii] He has argued CRT is “hateful” and “racist.”[xxix] He has suggested that canceling student loan debt will increase inflation.[xxx]

CLIMATE CHANGE, ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT:

Miller has criticized the Biden administration for “cutting American energy production off at the knees.” He argues we need to “re-commit to American energy independence.”[xxxi] He has accused Democrats of “climate hysteria” to raise taxes in order to address the “climate hoax,” further arguing, “this is the biggest fraud and shakedown” in history.[xxxii] [xxxiii] He advocates for energy independence and has criticized Biden for shutting down US pipelines.[xxxiv] [xxxv] [xxxvi] [xxxvii]

BIG TECH & DATA PRIVACY:

Miller has committed to combatting big tech censorship in Congress, arguing they “will do whatever they can to STOP pro-Trump candidates from winning in 2022.”[xxxviii] [xxxix] [xl]

GUN SAFETY:

Miller strongly supports the Second Amendment and argued earlier this year that “every politician who votes for gun control deserves to be voted out in November.[xli] [xlii] He is endorsed by the NRA and has an AQ rating.[xliii]

FOREIGN POLICY:

Miller has criticized the Biden administration’s inaction on Taiwan, asserting it “is at the forefront of today’s fight between freedom and tyranny.”[xliv] He has called on Speaker Pelosi to visit Taiwan, adding, “We must never give in to China.”[xlv]
