ON THE ISSUES

REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS:

Gill describes himself as “unabashedly pro-life.” He believes future generations will “look back on abortion the same way we look back on slavery,” arguing that abortion is an “abomination that needs to be abolished.”[v]

IMMIGRATION & BORDER SECURITY:

Gill argues that the Biden administration’s “open-borders policy is an abomination” and “extremely dangerous.” He advocates for stricter immigration policies, including building a border wall funded by tax remittances, reinstating the “Remain in Mexico” policy, and supporting the Reforming American Immigration for Strong Employment (RAISE) Act, which will overhaul the U.S. immigration system to introduce “merit-based immigration.”[vi]

ECONOMY & JOBS:

Gill advocates for reducing government spending and auditing federal departments to maximize economic growth. He supports adding a “balanced budget amendment” to the U.S. Constitution and working toward reducing the national debt to under a trillion dollars a year while balancing the national budget by 2030. [vii]

TAXES:

To inspire the growth of the U.S. economy, Gill advocates for comprehensive tax reductions “across the board” and promotes free market policies.[viii] In January 2024, he signed Americans for Tax Reform’s Taxpayer Protection Pledge, pledging to vote against measures with income tax increases.[ix]

CRIME & PUBLIC SAFETY:

Gill believes that crime has caused “one of the biggest hindrances to economic prosperity.” He has stressed the need for strong law enforcement measures that will incarcerate rioters and looters, combat drug and human trafficking, and ensure safety near schools. To achieve such measures, Gill has proposed designating the Mexican Drug Cartel as a terrorist organization, investigating NGOs that fund bail for rioters and looters, increasing mandatory minimums for violent crimes, and maintaining funding for law enforcement agencies.[x] He has supported defunding the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), stating that the agency has been “weaponized against conservatives and Christians.”[xi]

CLIMATE CHANGE, ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT:

Gill supports reinstating Trump-era policies that instill energy independence and drive America away from depending on “foreign adversaries.” He also supports cutting “red tape” across the energy industry. In December 2023, Gill was endorsed by the Oil & Gas Workers Association.[xii] [xiii]

FOREIGN POLICY:

Gill views Israel as a “beacon of democracy and stability in the volatile Middle East.” He supports Israel’s right to defend itself against Hamas and implores the international community to support Israel by denouncing Hamas.[xiv]

HEALTHCARE & SOCIAL SAFETY NET:

Gill has promoted privatized health insurance companies and urged Americans to stop using insurance providers that “pay doctors to push vaccines and cover abortions and gender changes.”[xv]

DEMOCRACY:

Gill believes that President Trump won the 2020 general election and has promoted his father-in-law Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary on the election, 2000 Mules, which explores alleged voter fraud during the election.[xvi]

SOCIAL ISSUES:

Gill opposes gender transition surgeries for children, arguing that children deserve “protection from irreversible decisions pushed by ideological agendas.”[xvii]
